AARP Driver Safety Program Where: Bristol Library When: August 12th and 13th, 5:45pm - 9:45 pm AARP Driver Training Program will be held at the Bristol Library on August 12th and 13th from 5:45 pm to 9:45 pm. The program is designed for drivers 50 and over. The fee is $10.00 per person and you do not have to be a member of AARP to attend. This program offers reduced insurance rates and points off your license. Call 229-5862 for more information and to register. |

Knitters and Needlecrafters Meeting Where: Bristol Library When: 6:30 - 8:30 pm Bristol Knitters and Needlecrafters meet at the Bristol Library. Meeting times are from 6:30 to 8:30 pm every 1st and 3rd Wednesday between the months of April to October, and every 1st and 3rd Sunday between the months of November and March. We meet to work on our projects, socialize, and help each other with our crafts. We also do community projects and fundraising for the library. Catch the Reading Bug Where: Bristol Library When: Each Tuesday at 10:30 am The Bristol Library will be hosting fun and interesting bug filled events and books, projects and refreshments for kids of all ages each Tuesday morning at 10:30 am. Fourth Annual Bristol Junk-IT Where: Bristol Library When: Saturday, August 16th from 9am - 3pm Reserve your space now for the Fourth Annual Bristol Junk-IT to be held Saturday, August 16th 2008 from 9am - 3pm at the Bristrol Library. The Bristol Junk-It is a community-wide yard sale with multiple locations to benefit the Bristol Library and other local non-profit organizations in Bristol. $10.00 per vending space.
