PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, for the purpose of adopting this local law a public hearing will be held by the Bristol Town Board at the Bristol Town Hall, 6740 County Road 32, Canandaigua, NY 14424, and via the video virtual conference process, on the 10th day of April 2023 beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m., to consider the enactment of the proposed local law described and summarized below:

LOCAL LAW NO.   1 - 2023    

This local law provides for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (the Uniform Code) and the State Energy Conservation Construction Code (the Energy Code) in this Town. This local law is adopted pursuant to section 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law. Except as otherwise provided in the Uniform Code, the Energy Code other state law, or other section of this local law, all buildings, structures, and premises, regardless of use or occupancy, are subject to the provisions this local law.

Copies of the text of the above-named local law shall be filed in the office of the Town Clerk.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard on said proposed local law at the place and time aforesaid, or by video conference. A video conferencing link available on the Town’s website: www.TownofBristol.org.

Minutes for November 14, 2022 Board Meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of  Bristol on the 12th day of December 2022, at 6:30 p.m., at the Bristol Town Hall, 6730 Co. Rd 32, Canandaigua, New York, regarding the adoption of a Local Law of the Town of Bristol Relative to the Exemptions for Senior Citizens and for Disabled Persons with Limited Incomes”.  This local law would amend the real property tax exemption provisions relative to real property owned by individuals age 65 or over whose income is under the stated limits, as permitted by § 467 of the Real Property Tax Law, and relative to real property owned by persons with a disability, as permitted by § 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law, whose income is limited by such disability and used as the legal principal residence of such person.

 Any resident of the Town of  Bristol shall be entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing.  Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at the  Bristol Town Hall, 6730 Co. Rd 32, Canandaigua, New York.

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Canandaigua Town Board and the Bristol Town Board will be holding a joint meeting this evening, Monday, November 28, 2022, to discuss the Canandaigua-Bristol Water District. The meeting will be held in-person and will begin at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in the lower level Onnalinda Conference room at the Canandaigua Town Hall located at 5440 Route 5 & 20 West, Canandaigua, New York. This meeting will also be available via Zoom Meetings.
